“All the Vilest Things” initially sounds like a song about retaliation. The speaker has been attacked, wounded, and subjected to things that were intended to destroy him, and much of the language is deliberately violent. Yet Manson's own explanation points in a different direction. He describes the song as being about “balancing your resentments” and determining the proper measure of punishment in matters of war. On May 15th 2025, Marilyn Manson and his wife Lindsay celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. They were married on May 15th 2020. This year Manson and Lindsay are on the road for the "One Assassination Under God Tour", so they celebrated their anniversary in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where Manson would perform later that night. Lindsay also shared some photos and videos in her Instastories of herself and Manson, as well as some words about their relationship over a photo of their first initials drawn in the sands of Myrtle Beach. The next day, May 16th, Lindsay also shared that she is now seven years sober.
