On April 10th 2025, Colonel Kurtz released an interview she did with Paz De la Huerta. Recently Paz has been more public in sharing her story of abuse that she suffered in her past from family members and Harvey Weinstein. In February 2021, transgender artist and activist Love Bailey revealed in an Instagram video that she witnessed Marilyn Manson raping an inebriated Paz De la Huerta in 2011 during a photoshoot in Manson's apartment, which Love Bailey designed the set for. Despite all the abuse and assaults Paz has suffered in her past, she adamantly denies Marilyn Manson ever assaulted her in any way. In fact, she claims Marilyn Manson has been a good friend to her for many years, and though she did have a bit much to drink the day of the photoshoot in 2011, Manson took care to feed her by making her a grilled cheese sandwich and arranging for her a safe return home when the photoshoot was over.
When it was widely reported in the media in February 2021 that Love Bailey was using Paz to make false allegations against Manson, Paz says she was in the middle of escaping abuse from her family members, but still managed to get someone to have Paz's name removed from the Instagram video Love Bailey released and not use her name in Love Bailey's false accusations.
Last year on May 1st, Paz finally came out publicly with her story of abuse, but affirmed the innocence of Marilyn Manson while calling Love Bailey a liar. This was done through an interview in an Italian publication (which I write about here), where she revealed that there was an attempt by people to get her to speak out against Manson. Up until now we only have Paz's testimony in writing, but now we finally have her testimony on video through her interview with Colonel Kurtz, which you can see below:
It should be noted, Colonel Kurtz told me she reached out to Love Bailey in order to get her reaction to what Paz said before she published the video on YouTube, and though Love Bailey agreed to watch it, she declined to make any comment and instead turned the topic against Colonel Kurtz for being basically a blind loyalist to Manson.
As I previously reported (here), on the day (January 24th 2025) it was announced by the LADA that charges would not be brought against Manson after a four year investigation, he and Lindsay celebrated by attending Paz's Los Angeles art exhibition opening (photos with Paz's comments below). On March 11th 2025, an interview with Paz was released by the LA Times which partially took place at this art exhibition opening. The journalist, Devan DÃaz, noticed that Manson was in attendance and made the following comments in her article:
"In
attendance is De la Huerta’s friend Marilyn Manson; sexual and domestic
violence charges against him had just been dropped earlier that day.
She insists on his innocence more than once, and my stomach turns. I
want to believe her as I do everything I’ve written above, but I can’t.
I’ve seen women speak against Manson with the same urgency and detail
that De la Huerta has shown me.
Why do we believe some people and
not others? During #MeToo, I dated someone who lost their Condé Nast
job over similar accusations. I chose to believe their innocence. I
cannot ask De la Huerta to turn her back on her friend, just as she
cannot ask me to turn my ear from Evan Rachel Wood’s testimony against
Manson. Whenever he comes up, I change the subject."
What I find interesting about this comment is it shows a) Paz's enthusiastic support for her friend Manson, b) Devan's refusal to be open to Manson's innocence based solely on the 2018 and 2019 rehearsed testimony of two actresses who sounded convincing to her, and c) she acknowledges that she is making a choice to not believe Manson is innocent just like she chose to believe her boyfriend was innocent when he was, according to her, falsely accused and fired from his job. The funny thing is that she was aware earlier that day no charges were brought against Manson after a long investigation that lacked evidence to warrant any charges.
