Though most of Manson's previous albums have landed in the top ten overall albums, that Manson now did well on the charts especially in genre specific ones should be seen as a positive when you consider there has been very little promotion for this album with his recent signing under a new label. Moreover most music publications that have had negative stories about Manson for the past few years chose to ignore the release altogether, choosing to focus on his scandals over the past few weeks rather than his music.
