As mentioned in my previous post , Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon issued a peculiar statement on October 9th updating people on the criminal investigation of Marilyn Manson by his office. In the statement it was revealed that "our office’s Sex Crimes Division are carefully reviewing new leads and additional evidence that continue to come to our attention from the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s investigation." He also informed us that they "anticipate making a filing decision soon and will provide an update when that time comes." The problem with this is that George Gascon is in danger of losing his position to his opposing candidate, former U.S. Assistant Attorney General Nathan Hochman, who is running as an Independent. Los Angeles residents have realized that progressive policies on criminal justice make things worse for their city, and it appears that a change is just weeks away at the November 5th election. Will we finally be getting the
Marilyn Manson in the News (March 3-7, 2022) - The Media Reverses Its Course, Illma Gore Gets Unhinged, Evan Rachel Wood Blames Her Abortion on Manson, Ashley Morgan Smithline is a Fraud, 'Phoenix Rising' Part Two Details Revealed
- The Media Reverses Course in How They Refer to Marilyn Manson
With the release of the lawsuit by Marilyn Manson against Evan Rachel Wood and Illma Gore, the media suddenly found itself having to reevaluate their assessment of the case against Manson, which has now also turned to a case against the co-conspirators Evan and Illma. For this reason, you may have noticed a big difference in media headlines since March 2nd. They seem to have all dropped calling Manson "alleged rapist Marilyn Manson" and "accused rapist Marilyn Manson" and any other such epithet. Even Rolling Stone, who has officially come out as an enemy of Marilyn Manson, and never referred to Manson unless they called him an "accused rapist", has dropped it, and just refers to him as Marilyn Manson now. This may be a temporary thing, but it shows how strong they view Manson's lawsuit to be, and that he is not afraid to bring someone to court for defamation, which may include certain publications at some point.

- Newsweek Steps Up in Its Reporting
On March 3rd, Newsweek ran a story titled "Marilyn Manson's Ex-Lover Says Evan Rachel Wood's Accusers Group Tried to Recruit Her". In this story they interviewed Greta Aurora about her weekend with Manson in January 2011 and her side of the story of how she came to be mentioned in the lawsuit of Ashley Walters. Though short, it goes into enough detail to tell the full story from Greta's perspective, and this is a positive development in how the media is covering this case, which tends to ignore altogether the other side of the story.

- Illma Gore Gets Unhinged
On March 3rd, Illma Gore had a bit of a tantrum/meltdown on Twitter with the statements above, which she likely did not clear through her lawyer. Here are my thoughts on all three:
1. The first tweet is obviously a word for word mockery of Marilyn Manson's statement that he issued on February 2, 2021. I will admit it was a bit clever, but when you are facing a serious lawsuit it is not wise to appear to be mocking the one accusing you of crimes.
2. Knowing how difficult the effort is and how long it takes to get something copyrighted, let alone the expense involved, I can pretty much guarantee you that neither Illma nor Evan have any Certificates of Registration for all these copyrights, and that she is threatening with litigation Marilyn Manson and all those who republish the photos from her hard drive in order to scare people away from exposing her on the internet. However, by doing so, she only confirms that these documents published by Manson's attorney's are authentic, that they indeed came from her hard drive. Basically, in one tweet she lies and exposes herself in the process.
3. Her third tweet just shows how unhinged and unserious and immature she is. Legally, she has also used a public forum to defame a public personality as a rapist, pedophile and maybe even incestuous if you want to be literal, without saying it is "alleged" or that he is "accused". On the positive side, she appears to be eager to face Manson and his team in court.
The next day Illma sobered up a bit and deleted the first two tweets, but kept the third and added a fourth, which is below:
In other words, she realizes the legal trouble the first two can get her into, but she fails to see and in fact doubles down on the consequences of the third.
Both Illma and Evan have thirty days to respond to Manson's lawsuit. Evan remains silent about it as of March 7th, and these statements of Illma's obviously had nothing to do with her law team, so it can't really be seen as an official response, therefore as of March 7th Illma has yet to respond as well.
- TMZ Confirms the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Is Collecting Evidence Against Wood and Gore
On March 3rd, TMZ made an update to their article from March 2nd, in which they state the following:
"We've now gotten clarification from the LACSD, they tell us Manson's legal team DID, in fact, provide them with information relating to the case and the allegations against Wood. We're told the information will be provided to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office for consideration in evaluating possible charges involving Manson.
As of now, we're told detectives have not yet presented any case to the DA."
In California, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department gathers evidence for a case and presents the evidence to the District Attorney, who in turn determines if the case is suitable for trial, and if it is whether it should be a civil or criminal trial. In other words, an investigation by the sheriff's department is underway.

- Evan's Cryptic Photo Returns
On March 5th, Evan posted the photo above in her Instagram Stories, but deleted it less than an hour after posting it. As you may recall, a few weeks ago Evan posted another photo of the girl from the Fellini film titled Spirits of the Dead, specifically from the third segment called "Toby Dammit", and I commented on it back then, which can be read here. In the film, the girl holding the ball is a devil figure haunting the former actor Toby Dammit. I still find it too cryptic to interpret, but I just want to note it here in case more connections and clarifications are given, though I do believe it is Manson related.

- Ashley Morgan Smithline Posting Fake Photos of Herself Again
Absent-minded Ashley Morgan Smithline should have learned the hard lesson that was tossed at her months ago, when she was caught posting a Pinterest stock photo claiming it depicted marks of her abuse when in fact the photos belonged to a male. This time, on March 6th, Ashley has posted a photo that she claims came from one of her own photoshoots of a model that looks very much like her, but is clearly not her when compared to other stock photo images that show clearly this model is not Ashley. The body shot photo posted the same day also appears to not be her.

- YouTube Videos To Check Out
I think I should be updating people on YouTube videos that also come out. Below are some noteworthy ones that recently have come out that should not be missed:
1. A former personal assistant and housemate of Marilyn Manson, Lauren Tillman, was interviewed by Colonel Kurtz, which can be seen here.
2. Colonel Kurtz has a new interview with Greta Aurora here.
3. Friend and former housemate of Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood, Leslee Lane, was interviewed by Colonel Kurtz. The first video is here and the second video is here.
4. Attorney Andrea Burkhart was interviewed by Colonel Kurtz both before and after reading the documents of Manson's lawsuit, which can be seen here and here.
5. Colonel Kurtz also appeared on the Popcorned Planet show to discuss the Manson lawsuit, which can be seen here.
6. Jessie from the Podawful podcast has been on the Illma Gore case for seven years, and he was interviewed by Colonel Kurtz here. He in turn did a very interesting and entertaining live two-hour show on the case as well on his channel, which can be seen here.
- The New York Post Spills Details from Part Two of Phoenix Rising
It appears the New York Post, a conservative publication, has been given permission to report on part two of Phoenix Rising, and shocking details have emerged about what is in the second part of the documentary. On March 7th, The Post quotes Evan in the documentary saying the following:
"From the beginning of our relationship, he always had an issue with whatever birth control I was using — and I went through, like, every type to see which one he liked, and he didn’t like any of them, so essentially he didn’t want me using birth control.”
After failing to explain why Manson made such a fuss about birth control, Evan claims Manson refused to wear a condom, and though she doesn't explain why, she says she used spermicides after intercourse but they didn’t work, so she eventually became pregnant and decided to terminate the pregnancy, which is odd because Evan has always claimed Manson controlled her and wouldn't allow her to make decisions.
“He flew out for the abortion. The second it was over it was like, ‘Make me dinner.’ And I remember being like, ‘I’m supposed to be resting — my body has gone through this trauma … there’s aftermath here.’ And he didn’t care.”
So are we supposed to believe that as Evan was lying in the hospital bed after the abortion, that Manson told her right there to make her dinner, because she does say he did it "the second it was over"? But if "second" isn't supposed to be taken literally, then how long after is "second"? Was it an hour? Two hours? Five hours? 20 hours? 48 hours? And what did she make? Was he demanding an upscale dining experience? Did she microwave some canned soup? Also, was this in the trailer she was in while filming Mildred Pierce? Was it in her New York City apartment? Was it when Manson moved her to a hotel because the air conditioner broke? What about Manzin's testimony where Manson told him that the baby was from another guy? Too vague, Evan.

At a later, unspecified date, she says, she tried to kill herself.
“I went into the bathroom and I took glass and I shattered it on the floor and just started digging at my wrists as hard as I could,” Evan tells Illma Gore in the film.
“I went into the bathroom and I took glass and I shattered it on the floor and just started digging at my wrists as hard as I could,” Evan tells Illma Gore in the film.
Now this sounds pretty violent and it should have left one scar at least, but photographic evidence has proven there are no scars on her arms from this time. I mean, if you take glass and shove it into your wrists with all your might, not only do you leave some sort of scar, but there is no way you escape alive either.
While Evan’s suicide attempt was ultimately unsuccessful, it was a turning point, as she says in the film.
“When I woke up, I felt different. I feel like whoever I was went to sleep and didn’t wake up that night, and this new version woke up and had to start rebuilding her life. I called my mom and I said, ‘I just tried to kill myself, and I need to go to a hospital, like, immediately.’”
Woke up? From what? Death? Did you wake up in a pool of blood? How did you survive the impossible? By the way, she never did go to a hospital to replenish all that lost blood, but she claims she went to a mental hospital for a time. And personally I dispute whether she ever did go to a mental hospital.

Evan claims Manson’s abuse was incessant. She alleges that she was forced into isolation inside his Spanish-style Los Angeles home, where she says she was kept in “freezing cold” temperatures and deprived of sleep. She also believes Manson drugged her, with everything from meth to sleeping pills. She "believes"? Meth? So she has no proof?
“This is also when he started raping me in my sleep. I’d wake up, I just remember doing the mental math quickly and thinking, ‘Just stay, just stay asleep, don’t move, just don’t move.’ So I would just lie limp and still until it was over, and then I swear to God, he would just fling my leg and walk out of the room.”
The documentary shows the accusers meeting together in October 2020, along with two former Manson assistants, including Dan Cleary, who had recently posted a viral Twitter thread about how Manson “turned [Evan] into a different person. He broke her.”
“I remember this one time, it actually got physical — and he, like, threw me up against a wall and had a baseball bat, and said he was gonna smash my f–king face in because I was trying to get him to pick out pants,” accuser Sarah McNeilly says in the film.
Ashlem Morgan Smithline, discussing how she wanted to escape Manson, reveals, “I let my appendix burst. It went gangrenous, I went septic. I was, like, ‘Just let me f–king die, just let me die so I don’t have to feel this s–t.’”
After briefly fleeing Manson’s home in 2009, Evan later alleges that Manson lured her back in — and tells the group he did so through torture. Wood, who’s also Jewish, alleges Manson tied her to a prayer kneeler inside his home and struck her repeatedly with a Nazi whip. He then allegedly shocked her welts and her “private parts” with an electrode.
“It hurt so bad that I broke the kneeler in half,” Evan told the others. “I remember in that moment thinking, ‘Just tell him whatever he wants to hear, just tell him whatever he wants to hear’ … and I said, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry.’ I was begging for forgiveness, and he was cradling me and saying, ‘You understand now.’ And then he cut open his hand … and made me drink his blood. And then he cut me … and drank mine.”
It should be noted that the last two paragraphs were scenes from a music video Manson was filming with Evan and Esme in February 2009, which both have twisted into something that happened to them in reality, which is pretty hilarious when you think about the lengths they go to make up such tales.

The film then shows headlines announcing Evan had gotten back together with Manson. One, from Perez Hilton, who began calling her “Evan Rachel Whore” following the “Heart-Shaped Glasses” video, proclaimed “Evan Rachel Whore and Marilyn Manson: ‘On’ Again!” with the word “HO” scrawled over her head.
“The allegations that Evan Rachel Wood has made against Marilyn Manson are recent,” Hilton told The Post in a statement when asked for comment on his coverage. “I believe her.”
Manson's attorney, Howard King, gave the following response to The Post:
“As we detailed in our lawsuit, nothing that Evan Rachel Wood, Illma Gore or their hand-picked co-conspirators have said on this matter can be trusted. This is just more of the same.”
Though I will address everything above at a later time, I will just say this. The bombshell about Evan's pregnancy no doubt was filmed after Colonel Kurtz interviewed Manzin, who revealed that Evan became pregnant not with Manson's baby, but the baby of someone else that Evan cheated on Manson with while they were engaged. Clearly Evan knew she had to respond to this new allegation against her. She continues to manipulate the narrative when she fails to recount any details, as she is wont to do when trying to manipulate her audience, such as what she cooked for Manson. By leaving such a detail out, she allows the listener to conjure in their minds the worst possible scenario, which is how experienced and strategic manipulators tend to twist facts.
Much that has been written above I have already refuted in previous posts and directly contradicts the facts. I will be posting very soon much more on how this is being done.
- Yahoo Gives the First Review of the Complete Miniseries Phoenix Rising, saying it is "Inspiring to Behold"
For the most part, Yahoo gives a positive review of the documentary, but one specific place where you can see the reviewer eating up all of its garbage is in the following paragraph:
"Towards the end of the documentary, there’s a heavy-handed moment where Wood literally defaces a 'Manson' portrait of herself with a Sharpie. But while it might feel like a bit much, it’s all part of how Phoenix Rising doesn’t just seek to expose a monster, but make clear how the facade doesn’t excuse his behavior. Stripped of his fans, stripped of the carefully cultivated persona, Warner emerges as almost a pathetic figure, powerless in the wake of these accusations."
We are also told the entire documentary is 155 minutes.

- Movie Recommendation: Death Game (1977)
I saw this film for the first time this past weekend at a local midnight screening, and even though it is a bit over the top (in a good way), it reminded me a lot about the Manson case. Many of the accusations against Manson, which I consider to be false, I see as a violation of his hospitality, which to me is sacrilegious, where Manson took some of these girls in and tried to do them good, and in turn they returned evil for the good. This is pretty much the premise of the film. The two girls who seduce the older man in the film later claim that they are actually underage, and if caught he could face charges of statutory rape, a lengthy prison sentence, and the dissolution of his family life and career. It is revealed also that at least one of them has mental health issues after being raped by her own father. They then proceed to bring him to a trial of their own, much like Manson is facing a trial by media and social media disconnected from any justice. It is a must see, and the ending is particularly delightful; we all applauded in the end. Though I didn't go in thinking to connect this film with the Manson case, I found it to be metaphorical for it many ways. Try and find it. It is available for the first time on Blue-Ray this week. Here is a link to the trailer.
- New Quote for My Website
One of my favorite books is called The Ladder of Divine Ascent by St. John Climacus, a Christian saint and desert-dwelling monk of the Sinai desert from the seventh century. I've read it many times, and it has been recommended reading during the lenten period we are in for centuries. As I was reading it today, I came across this quote, which I have always loved and wanted to share here.
"The evil man is a false prophet who thinks that from words he can catch thoughts, and from outward appearance, dispositions of the heart."
In other words, often we interpret someone's thoughts by the words they speak, and we judge the disposition of someone's heart by their outward appearance. However, according to St. John Climacus, those who do this are evil and false prophets. A true prophet doesn't formulate someone's character based on these external factors, for God alone knows the thoughts and the disposition of the heart of the individual, and God alone can judge justly accordingly.
Many times I have tried to explain this in the Manson case. Sometimes he may say something, but his words may not really be a reflection of his thoughts, and sometimes he may appear a certain way that is off-putting or shows a character of loose morals, but this outward appearance is not a reflection of what is in his heart. Those who claim, however, to know Manson's thoughts by his words and Manson's heart by his external appearance are doing nothing but claiming to have spiritual gifts that only God alone can bestow, which is why they are called evil and false prophets.
I'll be posting this quote for reflection at the top of my website, since it really sums up everything that has led to Manson being canceled.
