Though few artists and celebrities have commented on the Marilyn Manson case, those who have shown some sort of support or openness to his innocence following the allegations brought against him are few, mainly because of the tremendous amount of backlash against them on social media. As comedian Whitney Cummings
revealed on her podcast on February 25, 2021, she and one of her guests who were friends and fans of Manson were bombarded with DM's on Instagram for still following him after the allegations, forcing them to unfollow him. Those who prolonged their support, suffered for it. It has come to a point where just talking publicly about someone who is canceled is forbidden in Hollywood and entertainment circles, out of fear, unless it is in support of the allegations. Below are a few statements of support for Manson, either directly or indirectly. Others I have posted elsewhere.
On January 5, 2021, Courtney Love posted the following birthday message to Marilyn Manson. Though this was less than a month before Evan Rachel Wood named Marilyn Manson, Courtney continued to support Manson despite backlash, though she also deleted her entire Instagram posts from before February 2021, including this one.
Happy birthday my prince @marilynmanson It has been a pleasure growing up with you. And our supermodel careers. (🍆🌜😁)
In
LA at the end of my using 2 and a half years ago, trying to plan my
escape from that crazy asshole (see my description of 2020, previous
post) who was controlling all my phone, email, any contact with the
outside world, was “moving” 100s of 1000s of dollars a month through
rosses his roommates bank accounts (Ross entirely complicit , is what
the forensic accountants told us, along with my accountant, Karen, .. )
and telling me I had no money at all to eat, pay rent, nothing. I had
no credit, no Uber, no method of transport, I’d have taken the bus in
la, I just didn’t even have ANY cash, I lived under a reign of suicidal
terror. And was at the end of my rope. It was Manson who rescued me.
Manson who stuck his neck out and sent a car for me every night.
Planned my escape. Manson (and my daughter, my sister @jamrz and
@lanadelrey who helped me get to a place to detox off the staggering,
15 bars a day, Xanax habit that monster had me on, also without
@paulnortonhair getting me a burner phone and loaning me 500 dollars he
couldn’t really afford, I couldn’t have done it. Thank you paul, sorry
for forgetting. That burner phone was my only way of getting out too.
🌺🌺🍄) I’ll never forget that. It was brave, and it was kind. And
hanging out with you every night was my only human connection for
months. You made me start to feel human again. Thank you my brother.
I’ll always have your kind, gentle hearted, true artists back. I’m
sorry that one tour didn’t work out, (the kids think we’re stuck on some
90s moment with that tour, and aren’t aware of the incredible,
inclusiveness you have shown me over the years) I love you. Xx clc

I have been processing the news that broke Monday regarding Marilyn Manson.
To
those who have expressed your concerns of my well-being, I appreciate
your kindness. Please know that the details made public do not match my
personal experience during our 7 years together as a couple. Had they, I
would not have married him in December 2005. I left 12 months later due
to infidelity and drug abuse.
Abuse of any kind has no place in
any relationship. I urge those of you who have incurred abuse to take
steps to heal and the strength to fully realize yourself.
This is my sole statement on this matter. Thank you for respecting this request.

https://loudwire.com/marilyn-manson-ex-wife-dita-von-teese-statement-abuse-allegations/?utm_source=tsmclip&utm_medium=referral On February 5, 2021, Asia Argento posted the following message of support for Marilyn Manson on Instagram, which is a big deal in light of her being a major figure in the Me Too Movement, yet this didn't prevent her from facing a tremendous amount of backlash for it, to the point where she had to delete her post.

Early on, artistic collaborator and friend of Marilyn Manson, Chris Sutton (designer, professional actor, performance artist and fashion director), voiced strong support for Marilyn Manson.

Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless said the following about the allegations against Manson on February 12, 2021 in an interview with The Telegraph. It should be noted, she very carefully plays ignorant, but in the same statement she acknowledges an awareness of the allegations. Also, she is directly responding to an accusation against Manson by someone else, that he abused Taylor onstage when they performed together years earlier.

On March 2, 2021, Alice Cooper responded to the allegations against Marilyn Manson in an interview with NME.
It’s funny about Marilyn, in that I know Marilyn – when we toured
together we got along very well. I never noticed that streak in him, if
it’s there. I always believe in the word, allegations are still
allegations.
First of all, here’s a prime example: Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp and I are best friends. I’ve never seen him lift a
finger against anybody. He’s one of the most gentle people. And all of
his former girlfriends and wives say the same thing. So it’s really hard
to believe that all of a sudden he’s gonna turn into this monster. And I
know the guy — I’m with the guy on tour all the time. He’s one of the
most gentle, harmless people I’ve ever met.
Now I don’t know Marilyn, though, as well as I know Johnny. So what
happens in the bedroom is entirely a mystery to me for what’s going on
with Marilyn.

On April 15, 2021, Rock and Roll Experience asked Wednesday 13 in an interview what they thought about Marilyn Manson being canceled, to which he replied as follows.
Shhhh, Ya know, again, it’s just one of those kind of things, it’s
the same thing where it was, alright, there’s these accusations and ok,
everybody is, ok, well…he’s a monster so let’s step on the spider, let’s
kill the monster. And I guess that’s probably the first reaction to
that kind of thing, but they are all accusations and I say it’s innocent
until proven guilty. Manson has been a close friend of mine for years
and I don’t know of him to be any of the stuff that I’ve read so I don’t
know man, it sucks. I saw Dee Snider talking about Cancel Culture and
he was the one going against the PMRC fighting them so it is, it’s a
form of censorship, and it’s dangerous. It’s people saying, oh wait,
this guy can get cancelled so let’s cancel this guy, let’s cancel this
guy, you start cancelling everyone for something bad they did there is
going to be nobody left.

Most who have tried to support Manson on social media have faced a tremendous amount of backlash, to the point where the harassment got so bad they just backed off or deleted posts. One of them was Alison Mosshart from The Kills, who lost many followers for her support of Manson. Since no statement or show of support exists anymore since the accusations came out, I am posting what one of her haters and former fans has written as a statement in and of itself.
Alison Mosshart doesn’t care that Marilyn Manson beats, raped,
tortured, terrorized, stalked, brutalized women and underage girls. It
took her over 3 weeks to unlike that monster’s official statement. And
it wasn’t like Alison didn’t know what was going on because for those
weeks, advocates for the victims were writing Alison. They were
commenting on her Instagram page. They were sending her private DM’s.
They were explaining to Alison what she was doing by liking that
official statement Marilyn Manson released. How Alison looked by
continuing to following Manson on instagram. What did Alison do? All she
did was delete comments and delete messages by those trying to educate
her. She kept on posting stupid shit on her page like nothing ever
happened. After 3 weeks, she finally unliked Manson’s statement but she
continues to support Manson by following him. More fans came out asking
her why she continued to follow and support an abuser and she just
deleted their comments. She must have deleted 100’s of comments under
all the recent wiener snowman photos she posted last week. I stopped
following Alison’s page and I know I’m not the only one. I refuse to
follow that dingbat. She can go on and keep posting all those stupid
penis shaped snowmans on her page. She has shown who she is.
And she calls herself a feminist! Ha!
Fuck Alison.
I stand with Evan and the other victims.

Erin Skold, wife of Manson's bandmate Tim Skold, has been very vocal of her support for Manson on social media, making many supportive posts and appearing with him in some of his most recent photos. Below are two of the many posts she has made.
