Ashley Walters vs. Brian Warner Although the Ashely Walters lawsuit was initially filed in 2021, it has only been at issue since April 25, 2024 when it was reinstated. On April 9, 2025, the Defendants Marilyn Manson and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. applied for an ex parte order to continue the trial date from June 2, 2025 to January 26, 2026. This is mainly due to the fact that depositions and discovery in this case were delayed due to the criminal investigation against Manson by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Since the end of this investigation, depositions have begun in this case but there was not adequate time for both the depositions and discovery to meet the trial date of June 2nd, hence the extension. Discovery was supposed to expire in this case in May 2025 to meet the June 2nd trial date. Ashley Walters vs. Brian Warner
Although the Ashely Walters lawsuit was initially filed in 2021, it has only been at issue since April 25, 2024 when it was reinstated.
According to court documents, during Manson's deposition it was revealed by the Plaintiff's attorney that there are "at least" ten more depositions to be completed. Ashley Walters has also completed her deposition. Both depositions of Manson and Walters were completed by March 14, 2025.
Furthermore, Manson has requested that Plaintiff Ashley Walters undergo an independent mental examination, since she claims to have suffered emotional distress based on her lawsuit and reaffirmed in her deposition. The Defendant's expert witness, Julie M. Brovko, Ph.D, at the earliest could have conducted the mental examination in late May, which left little time for a full evaluation by June 2nd. The depositions have also necessitated the need to conduct additional discovery.
We are also informed that both parties are still looking at a potential resolution of this matter prior to trial.
The lead trial counsel for the Defendant will be Will Skinner, and the Plaintiff's counsel will be Robert Valli.
Despite opposition from the Plaintiff, it was ruled that the new trial date is scheduled for January 26, 2026. Depositions and discovery are currently underway.
Bianca Kyne vs. Brian Warner
Plaintiff Bianca Kyne currently has a lawsuit against Defendant Marilyn Manson in New York, and there is an additional lawsuit with an unknown status by the same in Louisiana.
On April 25, 2025, Plaintiff submitted her Third Amended Summons and Third Amended Complaint and Demand for a Jury Trial against Marilyn Manson, Interscope Music Publishing, Nothing Records and Does 1-20 whose identities are unknown to Plaintiff. Plaintiff had been directed to remove 27 allegations as proposed by the Defendant, which she consented to. These had to do with "allegations of abuse on a minor".
On May 15, 2025, Defendant responded to the Third Amended Complaint denying all claims against him and respectfully requested the Court enter judgment dismissing the case in its entirety with prejudice, awarding Manson his costs and disbursements incurred in defending himself, as well as receiving further relief as the Court deems just and proper.
On May 30, 2025, Jeff Anderson, the Plaintiff's attorney, requested a preliminary conference, perhaps to set times and dates for depositions and discovery and trial.
