Last we heard of the custody arrangement between Evan Rachel Wood and Jaime Bell was in May 2023. Then it was reported that according to court documents, Evan Rachel Wood lost primary custody of her son Jack to her ex-husband Jaime Bell, who wanted "the Court to know that Evan's recent behavior with Jack is truly alarming." Among the "truly alarming" things cited by Jaime was that she was "feeding" their son false information about Marilyn Manson, which caused him to have crippling anxiety and fear. Evan, who lived in Tennessee at the time and still does, had been allegedly keeping the boy away from Los Angeles, where Jaime lived, because, she claimed (based on a forged FBI letter written by Evan and Illma Gore), she was a key witness in an investigation into abuse by Manson, who she believed was a threat to her and her son. Almost as soon as a 2025 European Winter tour was announced by Marilyn Manson, all ten dates in seven countries were completely sold out for what would be his first headlining tour since 2019.
The first show kicked off on February 10th in Zurich, Switzerland at Halle 622, with The Blackmordia as the supporting act. Not only was this Manson's first show of 2025, but it was his first headlining show since the release of his new album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1. With him were the same band members - Tyler Bates (guitar, backing vocals), Reba Meyers (guitar, backing vocals), Matthew Montgomery (bass, backing vocals), and Gil Sharone (drums).
Being the first tour for the new album, the setlist included several newer songs than his previous performances in 2024, among them being the opener "Nod If You Understand" after an Intro with music from "Sacrifice of the Mass", as well as "Meet Me in Purgatory", "Death Is Not a Costume", and the Outro recording from "One Assassination Under God". Returning new songs were "Raise the Red Flag" and "As Sick as the Secrets Within". Performed for the first time since 2019 was "The Nobodies". "The Fight Song" was listed on the setlist, but wasn't played.
