Marilyn Manson and wife Lindsay attend Enfants Riches Déprimés event at Maxfield LA

Los Angeles brand Enfants Riches Déprimés is currently showcasing their Spring 2024 collection at Maxfield LA, and the event was attended by Marilyn Manson and his wife Lindsay on April 17th. On March 16th, Manson posted photos on his social media wearing the Enfants Riches Déprimés brand, which is French for "Depressed Rich Kids". Enfants Riches Déprimés is a Los Angeles and Paris based luxury fashion brand founded in 2012 by the conceptual artist Henri Alexander Levy, who has created a French punk streetwear line based on the movements of the late 1970s and Japanese Avant-garde movements of the 1980s. One of the core precepts of the brand is high price points, with T-shirts ranging on average from $500 to $1,000, and haute couture jackets priced as high as $95,000. ERD consistently utilizes the business model of artificial scarcity. In this regard, all styles are sold on an extremely exclusive basis, and thus in relatively small quantities.  - Is the Marilyn Manson Lawsuit a Defamation Case Against Evan Rachel Wood?

Ever since the Depp v. Heard trial came to an end, the media has been spreading the following falsehood over and over again: that because Johnny Depp filed a defamation case against Amber Heard and won, this will inspire others to do the same and thus undermine real victims of abuse, and the most frequently used example of this is Marilyn Manson's lawsuit which is described as a defamation case against Evan Rachel Wood.

However, the Marilyn Manson lawsuit is really not at all a defamation case against Evan Rachel Wood. In fact, Marilyn Manson's lawsuit is directed not just towards Evan Rachel Wood, but also her alleged partner in crime, Illma Gore. The lawsuit is primarily aimed at their conspiracy and criminal behavior to bring down Marilyn Manson. It could probably more accurately be called a "tort case" (a wrongdoing by one individual against another that causes any type of harm or loss). Defamation only has a small role in this case, and the defamation portion of it is not aimed at Evan Rachel Wood, but at Illma Gore, a woman Manson has never even met, for the things she said about Manson regarding his alleged abuse of a minor for the Groupie film.

I write this short summary so that if you ever come across someone saying that the Marilyn Manson lawsuit is a defamation case against Evan Rachel Wood, you will respond to them with accurate information. By minimizing his case to a defamation case, it ignores and pushes aside the very essence of what the lawsuit is really about and makes Evan Rachel Wood look even more like a victim in the situation, and this should not become the narrative. The lawsuit is carefully constructed to avoid making Evan into more of a victim by the press.

- A Statement Against Evan Rachel Wood and her Mother Sara

On June 13th, under a Twitter post about the Marilyn Manson case by Perez Hilton, someone that goes by the name Rock Mercury claims to have had Evan's mother Sara as a manager that he fired for unethical business practices, and he also testifies that Evan is lying about Manson based on the things he heard her say while she was in a relationship with him.

Whether this testimony is true or not has yet to be confirmed. The things I could confirm is that his real name seems to be Myron Fulton. In 2010 he was in some short films, which would correspond with what Sara was working on at the time. He lives in the Hollywood area. In 2020 he worked on a project with another Manson accuser, Love Bailey, and from what he says about Bailey on Instagram, it seems like he has nothing but ill feelings towards Bailey. It was around 2016 that he added the name Marcell to his name, to promote his Yoga work, so he was known as Myron Marcell Fulton. More recently he took on the name Rock Mercury.

If anyone can confirm his testimony, let me know. Till then, we should exercise caution with such random statements, but at the same time not deny they exist.

- Another Week of Evan "Delights"

In the week leading up to the HBO premier of the fourth season of Westworld, Evan Rachel Wood was interviewed on Good Morning America (June 21), The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon (June 23), and various podcasts and written media. She also attended the New York City premier on June 22nd. Controversial questions were avoided and the focus was primarily on promoting Westworld.

If I were to pick any highlights, it would be the following three things:

1. She appeared on Good Morning America with her Westworld co-star James Marsden. During the interview a comment was made that she and Marsden would joke around on set together, sharing jokes about the movie Anchorman. What is interesting about this is that she says the same thing in Phoenix Rising about Dan Cleary, how she remembered that in 2007 while on tour with Manson she would share Anchorman jokes with him. In my review of Phoenix Rising I expressed my doubts that they ever had any interaction, and Dan Cleary confirms this, but to share Anchorman jokes with someone implies a certain familiarity, and leads me to thing even more that Evan was lying in Phoenix Rising that they shared Anchorman jokes together. In fact, it would be weird if she shared the same jokes with two different men well over a decade apart.

2. On The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the focus was mainly on Evan playing games, promoting Westworld, and promoting her role as Madonna in Weird Al's upcoming film. For the latter, she sang impersonations of songs by Madonna, Alanis Morissette and Janis Joplin, the latter of which it is her dream role to depict in a film. Knowing how much she loves to show off her singing voice, those three choices just seemed more like an awkward desecration of the songs to me than anything else, mainly because she always tries to make things about her and by doing this she comes off as very inauthentic. However, I seem to be alone in my evaluation, because one media source after another could not get enough of her performance, hailing her talent as if she was a prodigy of perfection in all things she does.

3. During the premier, as she was happily signing autographs, it sounds like a reporter asked her if she continued to stand with Amber Heard. In the video clip of this it shows her immediately walking away right after the question was asked.

- Evan Now Compares Her New Westworld Role as Christina With Her Real Life and Uses It To Promote a New Activist Role

In her many interviews, Evan seems to be now making comparisons between her new Westworld character Christina and her real life. She begins with a John Steinbeck quote, and develops it from there. With the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court, she is using her new role to now become an activist for all women on behalf of abortion rights, and to look upon white men in power as the abusers of America (even though one Justice that voted for overturning it was a woman and another was a black man), who, like she did in 2016 with Donald Trump, she will demonize as an activist and use her survival of abuse from Marilyn Manson as the catalyst to empathize with the country as a fellow victim of abuse.

Below is a snapshot of how she does this:

- Did Amber Heard and Evan Rachel Wood Plot Together?

Unfortunately, there is a conspiracy circulating among Manson supporters who came onboard through the Depp case that says Evan and Amber plotted together to bring down Marilyn Manson. Theories like this need to stop being talked about as if they are a fact. There is absolutely no evidence this is true. It is even doubted how much Evan and Amber are in fact friends, since they have never been known to hang out in the same circles with the same people. The only common factor they have between them is that they both have the same stylist, or had (not sure if this is still true). They have each made statements on behalf of each other, but they were very vague. To spread unfounded claims like this does nothing but hurt the Marilyn Manson case, and it becomes a talking point for critics who will do anything to get away from actually addressing the real issues in the case. Only make factual statements if you have the evidence to back it up, otherwise make your unfounded strong opinions be known even more strongly that they are just opinions with little to no foundation.

- Ashley Morgan Smithline Has Gone Off the Grid and Out of her Mind

Ashley Morgan Smithline, who posts more than any of the other accusers on social media, has been eerily silent since June 22nd. I've been hearing rumors. Some are confirmed, some not completely. I will only say that from what I have heard, she has gone literally crazy, and by that I mean psychopathically out of her mind. In fact, the rumor is she has left the United States and has acquired a full on British accent. And no she is not just pretending, but she has now been going around and saying that she was not raised in California, as she used to say, but instead is of British origins and grew up in Hong Kong. As we learn more, I will keep you posted.
