On September 18, 2023, Marilyn Manson pleaded no contest to charges that he blew his nose on videographer Susan Fountain at a 2019 New Hampshire concert, and for this he was ordered to pay a small fine and perform 20 hours of community service. When he was asked by a reporter after this verdict how he planned to spend his community service, Manson said: "Hopefully work with people in rehab." He had till February 4th to complete his community service.
The Associated Press reported on February 3, 2024, that Marilyn Manson completed his 20 hours of community service last month, and his certificate of completion was submitted to the courts on January 30th.
The community service was done at the Glendale Windsor Club, a non-profit organization whose "primary purpose is to provide meeting locations for Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon groups (families of alcoholics) to achieve a more meaningful life through recovery," according to their website.
According to the court order of September 18th, Manson needs to remain arrest-free and notify local police of any New Hampshire performances for two years.
