Marilyn Manson’s "Don't Answer the Door" at first sounds like a scene straight out of a horror movie or the poetic mind of Edgar Allan Poe, where the subject is trapped inside while voices scream from the outside. But when you look closer at the lyrics, it looks to actually be a song about survival, getting sober, and taking back control of your life. Instead of being a song about hiding in fear, it is about setting hard boundaries. It shows that true power doesn't come from fighting your past mistakes, but from locking them out completely so you can heal. The song starts by setting up a safe space away from the rest of the world: “Unscrew the lightbulbs / In your eyes / Let my darkness inhale you.” Here, Manson is setting up the idea that he is deliberately choosing to take sanctuary in a place of darkness by removing himself from an artificial light. In this darkness, away from all the noise, he can finally listen to his inner voice. This imagery perfectly mirror...
Bianca Allaine Kyne, a resident of Maryland, originally filed a complaint against Brian Warner/Marilyn Manson as a Jane Doe on January 30, 2023, in New York under the Adult Survivors Act, asserting a sexual battery claim against Manson and intentional infliction of emotional distress. With this she also made allegations that he sexually assaulted her in the mid-1990's when she was a minor in her native Texas. She also makes various negligence claims against Interscope Records, Nothing Records and 20 Jane Doe's whose names have not been disclosed. On February 8th, the Marilyn Manson Uncanceled website published an email authored by Bianca Allaine which she thought was sent to Jeordie White in July 2021, but in reality it was submitted to the fansite Base Tendencies. In this email, Bianca basically confesses to Jeordie that her allegations against Manson are a hoax. On February 24, 2023, Bianca disclosed her identity, revealing herself as Bianca Kyne, her married name instead of her popular name. Since then not much has moved forward with this case due to attempts to get the case dismissed by the defendant.
While Bianca was active on social media in 2022 making many allegations against Manson and threatening a coming lawsuit, in 2023 she went silent and has been silent since issuing her lawsuit against Manson. Then suddenly, on January 25, 2024, a year after issuing her lawsuit against Manson, Bianca resurfaced at a live press event at the Anaheim Convention Center, where the NAMM music product trade show was taking place, with her lawyer Jeff Anderson and nine other sexual assault survivors he is representing to expose predators in the music industry. While making a rare appearance and being one of the few who did not speak at this event, she did also resurface on Facebook and Instagram (the latter of which is private). On Facebook she revealed that she had recently made a long-term move to Los Angeles in order to complete her long promised (since 2015!) horror film Zombinatrix in Hollywood. According to Bianca: "The massive delay was in trying to organize a crew and talent while in Maryland. There were some talented people, of course, but in L.A., movie making is the norm, so asking someone to be available for a week (or month) of filming is a breeze. And locations! Jeez, it was nearly impossible on a small budget."
With her public appearance and resurfacing on social media all in a 24 hour period, while parading a new positive and upbeat attitude and styling new shortened hair in a modest outfit, and having made a big move from Maryland to Los Angeles, a city which she had previously spoken negatively about, it makes you wonder what is really going on. She has made similar promises about Zombinatrix dozens of times before, since 2015. Is she hoping to use her new connections among fellow "survivors" to get her movie completed? Of course, we know about her close connection with Lenora Claire, who is on the LA District Attorney's Crime Victim Advisory Board with other close connections among Manson's accusers, and who is set to costar with Bianca in Zombinatrix. Now, as the live press event revealed, her network has dramatically increased in L.A., which may be the source of her new optimism. Or is she being prematurely optimistic of her hoped for results in her lawsuit?
