On April 9, 2025, the Defendants Marilyn Manson and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. applied for an ex parte order to continue the trial date from June 2, 2025 to January 26, 2026. This is mainly due to the fact that depositions and discovery in this case were delayed due to the criminal investigation against Manson by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Since the end of this investigation, depositions have begun in this case but there was not adequate time for both the depositions and discovery to meet the trial date of June 2nd, hence the extension. Discovery was supposed to expire in this case in May 2025 to meet the June 2nd trial date. A little over one week since Marilyn Manson released "Raise the Red Flag" on August 16th, it hit 2 million views on YouTube on August 24th.
That same day, during a sold out headline show in Calgary, Alberta at the Grey Eagle Event Centre, he performed his new song before a live audience for the first time as the ninth song following "Disposable Teens".
It was during this show that Marilyn Manson also performed "The Reflecting God" as an Encore for the first time since 2018.
The music video for his previous single released on August 2nd, "As Sick as the Secrets Within", currently has 3.6 million views on YouTube and continues to be performed by Manson after "The Dope Show".
