Marilyn Manson and wife Lindsay attend Enfants Riches Déprimés event at Maxfield LA

Los Angeles brand Enfants Riches Déprimés is currently showcasing their Spring 2024 collection at Maxfield LA, and the event was attended by Marilyn Manson and his wife Lindsay on April 17th. On March 16th, Manson posted photos on his social media wearing the Enfants Riches Déprimés brand, which is French for "Depressed Rich Kids". Enfants Riches Déprimés is a Los Angeles and Paris based luxury fashion brand founded in 2012 by the conceptual artist Henri Alexander Levy, who has created a French punk streetwear line based on the movements of the late 1970s and Japanese Avant-garde movements of the 1980s. One of the core precepts of the brand is high price points, with T-shirts ranging on average from $500 to $1,000, and haute couture jackets priced as high as $95,000. ERD consistently utilizes the business model of artificial scarcity. In this regard, all styles are sold on an extremely exclusive basis, and thus in relatively small quantities. - The Death of Lisa Marie Presley

On January 12th 2023, a long time friend of Marilyn Manson, Lisa Marie Presley, died in Los Angeles at the age of 54.

In April 2003, Lisa Marie said the following about Manson in an MSN.com interview:

"Manson is in fact a friend of mine and I'm also a huge fan of his. I've also heard his new record and it's awesome. Gosh. I was nervous to meet Manson because I'm such a huge fan."

Lisa Marie even attended Manson's wedding to Dita Von Teese in Ireland in December 2005.

On March 23rd 2018, Lisa Marie and Courtney Love had creepy guest appearances in Manson's music video for “Tattooed in Reverse”.

Looking back at past tweets of Lisa Marie referencing Manson, you can get a sense of the affection she felt towards him:

Even after the allegations against Manson were brought forward, the daughter of Elvis Presley continued to quietly support Manson, as it was reported on May 31st 2021:

"They've been very tight for many years. Lisa believes the guy is a good person deep down, just totally misunderstood and misrepresented. Marilyn and Lisa Marie really bonded shooting that creepy video, but their friendship extends way before and beyond that. She's quietly stayed in touch with him even during the current crisis. Lisa Marie is rooting for Marilyn to clear his name."

- Evan Rachel Wood  Reported to Co-Star in the Musical Version of Thelma & Louise

When Amanda Seyfried won a Golden Globe on January 10th, she wasn’t in the Beverly Hills ballroom due to being “deep in the process of creating a new musical." According to Variety on January 13th, it was discovered that Seyfried is involved with a workshop on the musical version of Thelma & Louise. There’s also talk that Evan Rachel Wood has joined Seyfried in the project to be her co-star.

Though Evan has not yet made any announcement to confirm her involvement, it is interesting that she would choose to play in a role similar to the role she played in the controversial "Heart-Shaped Glasses" music video. During this music video, Manson and Evan are depicted as criminal lovers on the run who choose to drive off a cliff and plummet to their death in order to die together rather than face justice apart from each other. During the shooting of this video, Evan alleges in part two of her documentary Phoenix Rising that Manson drugged her and raped her in front of the film crew. Similarly in Thelma & Louise, the two co-stars flee the justice system after Louise shoots a man who attempted to rape Thelma. While on the run in their vehicle and pursued by police, they come to the end of the road and decide to drive off a cliff together.

Seems like an odd role choice for a woman who claims PTSD partly because of what she alleges Manson did to her while filming that scene.

- Love Bailey Depressed Because of Lack of Interest in her New Music Video "Hornatia"

As was reported on December 12th, Love Bailey made a new music video for the song "Hornatia", which is largely about moving past her 2011 experience with Marilyn Manson where it is alleged Manson put a gun to her head and called her a faggot. On Instagram today, Love Bailey published a story talking about how depressed she is for the lack of views and attention her video is getting. In just over a month, the video has only received around 1,500 views. See the depressed Instagram video here.

- Marilyn Manson Gets Headline News for a Story About a Drunken Canadian Woman

Beginning on January 16th and for nearly eight days after, the media has been reporting about a 26 year old Canadian woman, Daniella Leis, who in 2019 attended a Marilyn Manson concert, got drunk, was escorted out of the Canadian venue, got into an explosive car crash in her father's car by hitting a house in London, Ontario, broke a gas line caused by the crash, set off an explosion that ripped apart four homes and injured seven people nearby, caused about $15 million in damage, was convicted to three years in prison, and is now suing the venue for making her drive home drunk. Specifically, she faces at least six civil lawsuits with victims urging for her to pay for the damages. This has prompted Leis and her father, Shawn, to file a lawsuit against Ovations Ontario Food Services, who they believe should also share some of the liability.

Though the only part Manson plays in this story is that Leis got drunk at one of his concerts, almost every headline of major media sources that reported on the story highlighted the name Marilyn Manson and that the crash took place after one his concerts.

- Esme Bianco Settles Her Case With Marilyn Manson

On January 24th a Joint Report on Settlement Negotiations was released, indicating that on January 17th the Plaintiff and Defendant "participated in private mediations," and as a result of the private mediations, "the Parties have reached an agreement in principle to resolve the above-referenced litigation. The parties are finalizing the papers documenting their agreement and anticipate a dismissal being filed within 45 days."

In other words, a settlement agreement has been reached between Esme Bianco and Marilyn Manson, and within 45 days the case will be finalized and dismissed.

“Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. in order to move on with her life and career,” her lawyer, Jay Ellwanger, told Rolling Stone.

“Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc.,” Manson’s attorney, Howard King, told Rolling Stone.

Here are my thoughts on this settlement:

Months ago I predicted that it was most likely the two cases that would end up in a settlement were the Esme Bianco case and the Jane Doe case. Currently, the Jane Doe case is the only case left alive of the cases made against Manson, and the reason I predicted that it would end up in a settlement is basically to get it out of the way in order to focus on more high profile cases. It was almost dismissed, but has so far survived. However, once Bianco asked for $10 million in damages related to charges of human trafficking, I realized that her case was primarily about getting paid for her services to Manson back in 2011 that she thought she deserved and did not receive to her satisfaction. She seemed to have had high career expectations from Manson, but ended up disappointed.

We don't know what the settlement entails, but make no mistake about it, Esme is the one who requested this expected settlement. Manson's attorney's had made it clear that they requested a pause on the case until the criminal investigation was decided upon by the LADA, which primarily involved the human trafficking claims of Bianco. Bianco did not want the pause, and her attorney's argued to move forward despite the results of the criminal investigation not being decided upon. The next thing we hear is that a settlement agreement has been made "in order [for Bianco] to move on with her life and career." Manson agreed to this.

Make no mistake about it, this is a victory for Marilyn Manson. When interviewed by Rolling Stone for their "investigation" into the allegations against Manson, Bianco said the following about Manson: "Nothing could be a better outcome for me than him spending the rest of his life in jail.” If Esme really wanted a man who she claims is a human trafficker, a rapist and a pedophile in jail, she would not have settled her case. If Esme really believed he was a human trafficker, a rapist and a pedophile, it is hard to believe she would not have tried to make the case by proving that it was true, after all she did claim to provide enough evidence to the FBI to supposedly show this. Instead, she decided to walk away "in order to move on with her life and career." Manson asked for nothing but for this case and the other cases against him to go away so he can concentrate on his own case against Evan Rachel Wood and Illma Gore, in order to prove his innocence and expose in turn all the criminal allegations against him at the source. Manson is now closer to getting what he wanted, while Esme got nothing from what she wanted as she expressed to the media, which boiled down to Manson "spending the rest of his life in jail." It seems like she may have received what she really wanted, which is some sort of compensation, but we don't know the details.

As I have stated elsewhere, settlements are common in civil trials, so common in fact that almost all of them either end up in a settlement or a dismissal. This case is no different from any other case. If Esme really wanted to present her evidence against Manson and expose him as a human trafficker, rapist and pedophile, and attempt to have him "spending the rest of his life in jail," she would not have sought and agreed to a settlement. Meanwhile, Manson still has plenty of chances to prove his innocence.

The interesting thing moreover in all this is that I along with a few others, including Lisa from The Manson Cases and Colonel Kurtz, have what is believed to be the entire evidence file of Esme Bianco that was leaked late last year, and we will be presenting some of this to show how weak Bianco's case was, and how favorable it was in favor of Manson. Beyond this, there are a lot of fascinating details that will make a lot of what has been happening make more sense, so I'm looking forward to soon discussing this when it is cleared for us to do so.
